Measurement with H2S Analyzer and Digital Level Sensor

H2S Analyzer

Manufactures analyzers that detect hydrogen sulfide (H2S) using the method of lead acetate sensing tape.  The detection technology is based on chemically specific density changes.  This sensing tape is the only detection method that is absolutely specific to H2S.  Optical illumination and detection are integrated for maximum resolution accuracy.

The field proven microprocessor technology has been combined with ASTM approval analytical methods.  Two independently functionally microprocessor systems are embedded in the TRACE analyzer architecture.  This dual processor structure allows one processor to have uninterrupted dedicated execution of the analysis algorithms.  The second processor is dedicated to user friendly interaction and display.  Dual processor design ensures continuous precision analysis and dedicated responsive communication with interactive displays.

A selection of models are available for specific area classifications and detection ranges.

Model 1000 Terminal Unit
The Model 1000 Terminal Unit is a solid state stand-alone device designed to read the digital signal form the Model 1000 Digital Level Sensor and convert it to an analog output.  The intent is to enable the superior accuracy of the Model 1000 DLS to be used in a system, which has only analog inputs available for receiving tank level data.  This unit can poll up to 16 Model 1000 DLS and output to eight (8) analog signals based upon data received from the Model 1000 DSL.  The analog outputs are user programmable for either level or temperature from a particular sensor.

DAC4 (4-Channel Output Board)
The DAC4 is a solid state stand-alone device which polls the Model 1000 Digital level sensor and outputs a 4-20 mA analog signal for use by other field data collection equipment.  The intent is to enable the superior accuracy of the Model 1000 level sensor to be used in a system which has only analog inputs.  The converter can poll up to four Model 1000 Digital Level Sensors and output up to four analog signals based upon data received from the sensors.

Model 3005 Single Channel Output Board
The Model 3005 Interface board is designed to provide a single analog output from the Model 1000 Digital Level Sensor.  It provides a 4-20 mA signal output for the total fluid of the tank.  This is an alternative to the Model 1000 Terminal Unit.  It is intended for locations requiring an analog signal for the tank level where only one or two tanks are on location.
